The blade is professional quality stainless-steel made by Thiers Issard, makers of Sabatier knives. Micro-serrations on the blade easily cut all fruits, vegetables, and even cheese and salamis into very thin slices. The blade cuts without squashing or tearing the flesh, even of very soft fruits like tomatoes.
The height of the stainless-steel plate is adjustable so you can cut thicker or thinner slices. A knob in the end of the handle turns for easy adjustments. The handle and legs are non-slip for stability while in use.
From legs to handle the mandoline is 36.5cm long, and the main body is 17cm wide.
