With this handmade stoneware fermenting crock you can make your own sauerkraut, kimchi and pickles at home. With a white glaze, it’s a beautiful piece of kitchen equipment that’s practical, too.

Made in the Netherlands, this stunning crock pot is created by hand, meaning each piece is completely unique. All the fermenting crocks are 100% lead and toxic-free, and waterproof, making them the ideal fermenting vessel. 

Stoneware crocks are a wonderful way to cut down on food waste. Try pickling past-their-best vegetables, everything from cauliflower to cabbage to courgettes.

These crock pots have a wide opening at the top, letting you fill and scoop from with ease, while the straight edges make them easy to clean.

Each of the fermenting crocks come with weight stones which are unglazed. We recommend boiling them in water directly after use with a little vinegar to keep them as new. Store in a dry place. 

The fermenting crock has a capacity of 2 litres.

Please note due to the artisanal nature of the product, there may be minor variations in the glaze, but this will not affect the quality of the product.
