Diamond Pattern Polycarbonate Easter Egg Mould

Diamond Pattern Polycarbonate Easter Egg Mould

This professional polycarbonate Easter egg mould with diamond patterns is ideal for making perfectly formed, shiny chocolate Easter eggs. The solid polycarbonate mould makes 4 half eggs or 2 whole Easter eggs once stuck together. Each half egg measures is 95mm in height. The diamond patterned egg mould creates a dazzling effect which really shows off beautifully tempered chocolate.

This chocolate Easter egg mould is the preferred choice for professional chocolate makers because its flat, rigid surface means its easy to scrape away excess chocolate for a tidy finish.

Pour tempered chocolate into the egg-shaped mould to the top and then tap the mould a few times on a steady work surface to avoid air bubbles. Hold the mould upside down to remove the excess chocolate and use a spatula to tidy the surface. Once the chocolate has set turn the mould upside down. Leave at room temperature. As the chocolate cools further and contracts, the chocolate eggs will detach themselves from the mould and drop out.
