Yzaguirre Classic Spanish Rojo Vermouth, 1 Litre

This award-winning red vermouth is produced by Yzaguirre, one of the most famous vermouth brands in Spain. Its recipe dates back to the 19th century and includes around 80 herbs and spices, giving it a wonderfully complex flavour and aroma. In Catalonia, it’s known as vermut and it is typically served as an aperitif with olives, nuts, cured meats and cheeses.

Aged in oak barrels for one year, this vermouth has a balanced acidity and enduring bitter-sweet flavour. Sip slowly and you will notice notes of ripe fruit, vanilla and cardamom. On the nose, it has the unmistakable aroma of cinnamon.

Vermouth is traditionally served chilled with a few ice cubes and a slice of orange. For a longer, less potent drink, you can dilute it with tonic or soda water.
