ALBA cinnamon has a delicate flavour that sets it apart from other varieties. It’s sweeter and more fragrant than industrially processed cassia cinnamon. You can use the sticks whole or grind them to a fine powder.

ALBA cinnamon is renowned for its quality and taste. The warm, woody flavour works beautifully in cakes and pastries. In the colder months, add cinnamon sticks to hot drinks like chai and hot chocolate.

Cinnamon is also used in savoury recipes, such as curries and casseroles. Try adding a stick to a lamb tagine or spicy chicken madras.

Pair whole cinnamon with cumin and saffron in a Persian rice pilaf. The spices add warmth and depth to the fluffy, fragrant rice. Top with pomegranate seeds, pistachios and dried cranberries.
