Murcia paprika has a sweet, fruity flavour and deep red colour. It’s made with PDO protected peppers grown in Murcia, Spain. The peppers are dried and ground to a fine powder.

You can add sweet paprika during cooking or as a finishing spice. It adds colour and peppery notes to stews with chickpeas, chorizo and white beans. In Spain, it’s used in popular dishes like paella and patatas bravas.

Endlessly versatile, sweet paprika is a spice rack essential. You can sprinkle it over roast potatoes or add a pinch to creamy beef stroganoff. It’s often paired with earthy spices, like cumin, in dry rubs and marinades.
